New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) said that recent regional marijuana legalization talks with other states created relationships that are helping to formulate a coordinated response to the coronavirus outbreak.

  • “Luckily we have set a template where our regional states work together. Many of you came to our regional meeting on marijuana laws. I have a good relationship that I’ve developed with the surrounding governors. We have actually deployed that here.”

The U.S. Postal Service is failing to properly internally mail seized marijuana packages, an audit found, and the agency’s failure to take steps to cover up cannabis’s scent is a key reason for shipments being stolen.

Filmmaker Kevin Smith and actor Jason Mewes are asking California officials to let marijuana activists collect signatures for a proposed ballot measure digitally rather than in person due to coronavirus concerns.
