The New York Department of Labor posted dozens of sample marijuana job descriptions—covering cultivation, delivery, retail, hospitality and more—to help people “explore working in cannabis through the potential functions of a variety of positions across this burgeoning industry.”
Researchers published more than 32,000 scientific papers on marijuana over the past 10 years—including over 4,000 in 2023 alone—according to a NORML analysis. Advocates say that undermines claims from opponents who believe that cannabis has been insufficiently studied to be legalized.
The Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management is gathering input for the launch of the recreational market with a new survey on issues such as retail business operations and sanitary standards.
