A federal grant from the National Science Foundation will be used to develop methods to remove dangerous pesticides from marijuana.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld (R), a presidential candidate, spoke about racial disparities in marijuana law enforcement.

Rep. Jennifer Wexton (D-VA) said she supports decriminalizing marijuana but not other drugs.

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) tweeted, “Here are the areas of the country where marijuana records are automatically being expunged: ➡️ California ➡️ Chicago ➡️ New York ➡️ Denver Step-by-step our movement is undoing the harm of the so-called ‘war on drugs.’ Next we must end the prohibition of marijuana in the U.S.”

Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) tweeted, “For years, marijuana possession has been a pipeline to prison for people of color. We must replace that pipeline with jobs, equity, and pathways to prosperity.”

New Hampshire lawmakers will attempt this month to override vetoes from Gov. Chris Sununu (R), including of a bill aimed at making it easier for patients to get medical cannabis recommendations.

Utah’s Senate majority leader said lawmakers are considering changes to medical cannabis packaging requirements.

Minnesota’s Senate majority leader said marijuana legalization is “not going to happen.”

Arizona’s auditor general found that the state Department of Health Services did not follow procurement requirements in awarding a contract for medical cannabis mapping services.

Massachusetts transportation officials are consulting with marijuana regulators about whether cannabis companies can purchase “sponsor-a-highway” signs.

California’s Employment Development Department tweeted about a cannabis career fair.

A Pennsylvania senator filed a bill to create a medical cannabis tax credit.

South Dakota activists are circulating three different proposed marijuana initiatives they hope to qualify for the 2020 ballot.

Bob Marley’s son Rohan Marley is seeking a New Jersey medical cannabis dispensary license.
