The Government Accountability Office published a report evaluating anti-drug ad campaigns by the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, highlighting “competing and contradictory messages” about marijuana and other substances that could undermine their efficacy.
Maryland Gov. Wes Moore (D) joked about how marijuana legalization was the “one thing that beat me on the ballot” by getting more votes than he did in 2022.

A coalition of anti-marijuana, law enforcement and religious groups sent a letter urging President Donald Trump to reject a cannabis rescheduling proposal, claiming it “would hand dispensaries and drug dealers a massive tax break estimated at $2 billion annually.”

Reps. Lou Correa (D-CA) and Jack Bergman (R-MI), along with a Marine Corps veteran, coauthored an op-ed pushing Congress to continue supporting psychedelic research at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) tweeted that “Bill Maher gets it [when it comes to President Donald Trump’s consideration of cannabis reform]. Trump can win BIG by rescheduling marijuana!”
