The Drug Enforcement Administration removed CBD drug Epidiolex from the list of federally controlled substances, meaning that it will be easier for patients to access the marijuana-derived prescription medication.

The Small Business Administration said companies that work “indirectly” with the marijuana industry, such as law firms and accountants—and not just cannabis growers and retailers themselves—are ineligible for federal coronavirus relief loans.

Delaware regulators are moving to allow medical cannabis delivery services for the first time amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Two marijuana magazines owned by Hightimes Holding Corp.—Culture and Dope—are suspending print publication amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, in a video newly published by the attorney of federal defendant Lev Parnas, spoke at a June 2018 political fundraiser about the banking and tax complications caused by the gap between state and federal marijuana laws, saying it is an issue that Congress has to resolve.

The Department of Transportation’s Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy and Compliance published guidance on how safety-sensitive employers should handle drug testing issues during the coronavirus outbreak.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse tweeted about how dabbing is a term for both a form of consuming cannabis extracts and a dance move.

Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) criticized Gov. Bill Lee (R) for resisting coronavirus social distancing measures by appealing to “personal freedom” while opposing personal freedom when it comes to marijuana.

Florida Democratic congressional candidate Pam Keith tweeted about her support for decriminalizing marijuana.

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) pardoned a man with cancer who was serving four years in prison for ordering 42 pounds of marijuana-infused chocolate.

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R), who has resisted issuing a coronavirus stay-at-home order in his state, cited the fact that people can still by marijuana under Washington State’s policy in a joint interview with Gov. Jay Inslee (D).

The Arizona attorney general’s office ordered the YiLo Superstore dispensary to stop implying that its CBD products would assist in the prevention or treatment of coronavirus.

Colorado regulators adopted emergency rules allowing furloughed casino employees to use their existing background check results to work in the marijuana industry.

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife  is recommending commercial cannabis cultivators submit notification of their proposed activities using an online form during the coronavirus outbreak.

Missouri regulators released updated medical cannabis patient and caregiver numbers.

Denver, Colorado’s Marijuana Licensing Work Group is postponing its meetings during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Business Development Bank of Canada said that marijuana businesses are eligible for a coronavirus-related loan program.

Ireland’s health minister announced that the government arranged for an emergency shipment of medical cannabis products from Holland to address patient access issues.

A study suggested that “medicinal cannabis may provide analgesic, antiemetic, and anxiolytic benefits for cancer patients.”

The University of Miami is conducting a survey on the impact of coronavirus on medical cannabis consumers.

MedReleaf Corp. is recalling marijuana products for displaying incorrect THC amounts on their labels.

iAnthus Capital Holdings, Inc. said it will default on interest payments and is delaying the reporting of its fourth quarter results.

Organigram Holdings Inc. temporarily laid off approximately 45% of its workforce.
